A true friend will never say NO to a favor. A true friend will also never ASK you a favor that is responded with a no.
To be honest, my past week was great. Camp meeting for me was just so moving that it’s brought joy to my week.
But from what I remember in the past, we all experience this spiritual high that is caused by camp meeting, but after a while it just dies out and not only are you back to where you were before camp meeting, but I feel even lower than I was before camp meeting because I keep searching for that spiritual high that can only be found at camp meeting. As I was painting my rims the other day, I was thinking.. Is it really camp meeting that gives us that spiritual high? or is it God’s presence? This past week I feel like I’ve felt God’s presence with me. This year is different, this year I’m not going to run from God, I’m going to keep him beside me.
So this is a warning to everyone at camp meeting next year, and to everyone in the near future. Watch out cause I’m definitely on the rise.
